WHAT WE DO
We were established in 2020 and work in the community to empower and support black and ethnic minority people. We have a dedicated and skilled team who, over the past year, have worked on the following key areas:

We host community education meetings, information stalls and events educating people to the importance on showing solidarity with the black commuity and help them identify and challenge racism and bigotry in all its forms.
COMMUNITY ORGANISING
We work proactively in the community, attending local meetings and events to engage marginalised communities. Our team offers support to local and national oraganisations that stand against hate, fascism and division - in all its forms.
YOUTH ENGAGEMENT
We have worked collaboratively and proactively, across Merseyside to improve the outcomes for young black and minority beneficiaries. Our work with young people focuses around the three ‘E’s’ of; Education, Employment & Enterprise.
ORGANISATIONAL TRAINING
Working with businesses so that employers are able to surface, understand and address issues within the organisation, developing an action strategy to help end systemic racism and address racial inequalities at work.
GUEST SPEAKING
We regularly help provide organisations with speakers on a variety of issues, we feel it is so important that people hear a wide range of black voices and ideas in making our society a more equal and just one.
WORKING WITH SCHOOLS AND EDUCATORS
Working with teachers who want a more culturally responsive curriculum, facilitate conversations about race, including classroom appropriate lesson plans, guides on having tough conversations with peers and students, and more
